gnuplot-x11 software package provides Command-line driven interactive plotting program. X-package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnuplot-x11
gnuplot-x11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnuplot-x11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnuplot-x11 *
You will get with gnuplot-x11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
